Five All Natural Treatment Options For Your Yeast Infection.

Yeast infections while irritating and uncomfortable are an unfortunate part of life for many women. An infection of this sort is nothing more than an over abundance of yeast growth. There are a few reasons that this can happen; if you are used to wearing clothing that is very tight, panties that are not cotton or made of breathable material, wearing a wet bathing suit for too long or even taking prescription antibiotics. We have found that natural cures are a great option for treating these infections.

Tea tree oil- Women can use this by applying undiluted to a tampon and inserting it into the vagina. This product is easily found in your local grocery and or drug stores.

Natural yogurt- Natural yogurt is a simple but effective treatment for the most stubborn of symptoms. Apply a small amount to the end of a tampon and insert into the vagina. Alternately you can also use the yogurt externally by rubbing it on the affected area.

Lemon Juice- Because of its natural acidity lemon juice is great for killing the excessive bacteria. To use this option just add lemon juice to your bath water or lemon juice mixed with water on a wash rag to the affected area.

Cranberry juice- 2 glasses should be consumed every day to maintain the pH levels inside of the vagina. Over time this can help dramatically.

Cranberry juice is very easy to use as you simply have to drink it! 2 large glasses a day over time will help restore the natural balance of yeast inside the vagina. If you have never been formally diagnosed with a yeast infection it is important that you see your physician prior to using any medications, home remedies or otherwise. Many different types of illnesses have very similar symptoms, however if these illnesses are left untreated they can cause many more problems later. Always see your Doctor for a formal diagnosis.
