CHRONIC HIVES REMEDY

Why the Most Common Chronic Hives Remedy Doesn’t Work

One would think that our scientifically advanced approach to medicine would have yielded a hive remedy that really works for those dealing with acute urticaria. Unfortunately, that doesn’t seem to be the case. In fact, the best long-term approach to the problem may be a completely natural strategy that doesn’t rely on the medical establishment’s preferred means of addressing the problem.

Hives seem simple. In acute cases, they often are. Those who experience a “random” outbreak of hives can usually solve the problem with an antihistamine. In severe acute cases, the use of a steroid product may be necessary to get a quick result. Regardless, those interventions work for those dealing with acute hives.

Those who struggle with long-lasting, chronic urticaria aren’t so lucky. There is no standard medical chronic hives remedy that produces consistent results. In fact, most people who follow the standard course of treatment experience only temporary relief from their hives and continue to suffer with frequent recurrences of the painful, itchy welts.

The usual approach to hives fails for a few reasons. First, it fails to recognize the underlying cause of the skin irritation. Doctors approach the hives in a manner similar to that they’d use when handling an acute case. They test to rule out more serious underlying conditions as causes. Assuming none is present, they work under the assumption that the hives appeared as a result of an allergy.

However, those who deal with chronic urticaria are usually in trouble because of the way their immune systems interact with the outside world. The immune systems are either overactive or prone to launching a disproportionate response when encountering an outside stimulus like an allergen or toxin.

That makes the usual chronic hives remedy incapable of actually solving the problem. The prescribed medications serve only to mask the symptoms, providing short periods of relief but doing nothing to prevent recurrences.

Additionally, the frequent use of medications to reduce symptoms has the potential to backfire. Over time, those medicines do bring accumulative toxins to the body. The aforementioned, hyperactive immune systems of chronic urticaria victims may react to that exposure by producing more hives. In other words, the most frequently used chronic hives remedy may actual do more harm than it does good!

When you understand the shortcoming of the usual approach to chronic hives, it’s easy to understand why so many of those who deal with chronic urticaria are committed to finding a natural remedy for hives.
